Author Jackie d. Rehkopf is Senior Research Associate in carbon Composites, manufacturer Plasan Tier 1 carbon fiber composites for automotive industry. Working from Tennessee in their facilities at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and out of Wixom, Mich., Centre for the development of their customers, she led research Plasan’s constituent of a composite carbon fiber and construction, focuses on commercialization. Dr. Rehkopf also was the main investigator DOE sponsored a three-year project on prediction modeling of carbon fiber composites in automotive application crash. He was a Civil Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree and Ph.d. from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
